Year 13...

This will be my last year at Hellesdon High school sixth form and I'm currently in the middle of sending off my UCAS and attending open days. It's odd because I really don't feel old enough for University and moving out, although I am quite excited, especially after visits and seeing the different universities and the courses I want to study sounds so interesting.
In the first weekend of October we had the first ETS weekend with the new squad. The weekend was really good and very educational. I really did learn a lot about many different things, especially nutrition and it was so useful (and quite funny) to do a practical session where we made smoothies.
On the 14th of October I attended the Broadland awards. I had received an invite through the post to say I had been shortlisted for Sporting Achievement of the year. The event was lovely and thoroughly enjoyable. I was absolutely over the moon to win the award on the night. It was such an inspiring evening listening to many amazing peoples story's and how people in this small area make such a huge impact on so many peoples lives around them.
I'm off to Fuerteventura tomorrow morning for a 12 day training camp with my swimming club and hope to get some really good fitness to help me through the winter and into next season. Luckily I got to have a massage with Carl Goose massage before I go to help me get through the camp in one piece.
